01. About me

I'm Jesús David Pérez Chávez, a Software Engineer from Táchira, Venezuela. I studied Computer Engineering at UNET and have been building web and mobile applications since 2018. For over 5 years I worked at Ordering Inc., an international white-label delivery & e-commerce platform.

There I grew from frontend developer to Lead on projects like the Kiosk App (POS) and the Finitless AI webchat, and ended up leading backend payment integrations with Stripe Terminal, Stripe Connect and Square POS. In 2026 I launched my own product: TaxMind, an Android app that generates VAT withholding certificates in seconds using AI-powered invoice extraction.

Founder & Developer @ TaxMind

Designed, built and launched TaxMind (taxmindve.com): an Android app that automates VAT withholding certificates for tax agents in Venezuela. AI invoice extraction with a vision LLM (strict structured outputs plus deterministic validation of the tax arithmetic), automatic withholding calculation (75% / 100%) per SENIAT regulations, official PDF certificates with sequential numbering, TXT export for biweekly filings, a secure multi-tenant backend (PostgreSQL with row-level security, serverless Edge Functions in TypeScript) and a prepaid credit system with local bank and crypto (USDT) payments. Built end-to-end as a solo developer, with an AI-powered workflow (Claude Code).

Android app for withholding agents in Venezuela: snap a photo of the invoice, a vision LLM extracts tax ID, amounts and dates with strict structured outputs and deterministic validation of the tax arithmetic, calculates the withholding (75% / 100%) per SENIAT regulations, and generates the official PDF certificate and the TXT file for biweekly filings.
